Ivysport  and  the  Environment

At Ivysport, concern for the environment is of paramount importance. Environmental protection is a priority for the conservation of precious natural resources and the continued health of our planet. Ivysport recognizes its responsibility as a global citizen and is continually striving to reduce the environmental impact of the work we do and the products we create. We are by no means perfect and — like many individually — have a long way to go to improve our environmental footprint. However, we are proud of the steps we've taken and plan to continue to improve our stewardship of the environment.

Here are some of the steps Ivysport has taken to help the environment:

  • We use recycled office supplies whenever possible. This includes printing paper, Post-it notes, envelopes, paper towels and much, much more.
  • We started a bottle and can recycling program where all employees help to pitch in. Employees go as far as to bring in bottles and cans they use at home.
  • We have given all Ivysport employees reusable drinking glasses instead of having to use and waste plastic, paper or styrofoam cups.
  • We maniacally reuse and recycle all cardboard used for shipping apparel and other merchandise.

  • We reuse all printing paper from our faxes and copiers whenever possible. We recycle paper we cannot reuse.
  • We have started to migrate our Ivy apparel to be made from organic cotton and recycled polyester and will continue to look for opportunities to do so.
